Evelyn Cholakians, MA, IBCLC
Hi! I'm Evelyn, the IBCLC behind Love & Milk Provisions.
I have been on a long journey to become the IBCLC and maternal-baby-advocate that I am today.
My education started in the medical sciences at UCLA where I began a career in clinical and behavioral research sciences. I pivoted fields when I fell in love with human evolution and human nature, and continued on to graduate school to study evolved human biology and psychology.
After graduate school, I returned to the clinical science world working in fields such as metabolic disease and oncology at UCLA and Mayo Clinic.
I experienced a rebirth of self when I became a mother. I nursed my first baby, nursed through my second pregnancy, then tandem nursed my babies. While not without its struggles, I will forever treasure these years of love and bonding.
Today, I am an educator, advocate, IBCLC, and a cheerleader alongside women as they empower themselves to reach their breastfeeding goals.
I have focused interests in tongue-tie, oral rehabilitation, bodywork, and prenatal breastfeeding preparation.
There are as many tears in motherhood as there is magic, let's walk through it together.
